A product is vegan when none of the ingredients or elements in the product are derived from animals. Most products from ZENZ are made with 100% vegan ingredients, and many carry the Sunflower Label from Vegan Society.

The Sunflower Label, or The Vegan Trademark, is registered in Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia, and India. It is used worldwide on over 30,000 products and represents the international standard for vegan products. The Sunflower Label can be found on food and drinks, beauty products, toiletries, cleaning products, and more, helping vegan consumers and their families find 100% vegan products.

Products that carry the Sunflower Label are manufactured, developed, and formulated without any animal ingredients. The production phase does not involve any animal products, by-products, or derivatives from land animals, marine animals, insects, or multicellular invertebrates.

The majority of ZENZ Organic Products are vegan. To make it easy to find products made entirely without animal ingredients, vegan products from ZENZ Version 2.0 carry the Sunflower Label from Vegan Society.

- Styling Wax Pure no. 09 contains beeswax from honey production (Cera Alba) and fat from sheep's wool (Lanolin).
- Styling Gel Sweet Orange no. 12 and Hair Styling Mousse Sweet Orange no. 91 contain silk amino acids from silkworm cocoons (Silk Amino Acids). If you want a vegan alternative, you should choose Styling Gel Pure no. 13 and Hair Styling Mousse Pure no. 90.
